BACKGROUND

Financial institutions are fighting in a sea of sameness. With good customer service now table stakes for both credit unions and banks, Servus needed a way to differentiate and ultimately drive consideration for the brand.

CHALLENGE

“Reward me for my business” being a key driver for fi customer engagement, servus believed it could tap into this insight through its focus on “financial fitness” and “profit share” programs.

APPROACH & SOLUTION

We evolved the established circle (Servus) vs square (Banks) platform animation from 2D into a 3D storytelling device. We told real stories from Servus members to demonstrate how banking with Servus is different. The campaign took a frank approach, explaining “Profit Share” in a clear, no nonsense way.

RESULTS

Servus continues to experience increased brand awareness and growth in its member base. More importantly, Servus stands alone as it continues to further differentiate itself from conventional banks.
